Sure there are plenty of amazing guitarists in your area and online, but do they have the real world experience to get you where you want to be as a player?
So you're a beginner and want to know everything about guitar from the ground up? Or you're a seasoned player who's looking for a fresh approach and new ideas? I can help.
I've been playing for 23 years, teaching for 17 years, graduated from Musician's Institute: Guitar Institute of Technology and spent the last 10 years as a "pro" touring the world over and over again, playing with some of the best musicians on the planet (where there REAL education is obtained).
From all this experience, combined with having a solo career on a label, writing and recording my own music and being hired for countless sessions, I know what it takes to be a well-rounded player. Let me share some of this experience with you through my internet lessons.
Why drive to some music shop to sit in an uncomfortably tiny room for 30 minutes with a teacher who doesn't have real experience? Save on gas, sit in the comfort of your own home playing your gear and sip on a nice cold ice tea while we dive into all that is guitar playing in a fun and casual manner.
I pioneered the online guitar lesson to be highly effective and can:
- provide a structured learning method that will guarantee results
- help you finally understand ALL the theory you've been trying to figure out in a very simple and easily understandable manner
- help you see a chord progression and know exactly what to play over it.
- help you become a VERY good improviser
- help you VASTLY expand your vocabulary and technical ability
- help you with song writing
- help you with recording, producing, editing and mixing
...and MUCH more
So how's this 'net lesson thing work?
You email me at dave@daveweiner.com and we'll agree on a day and time to do the lesson. Lessons are pre-paid using Paypal. Lessons are:

-$50 for a 45 minute lesson or $185 for 4, 45 minute lessons, which saves you money.

Don't have time for 45 minute lessons or just want to review/focus on one aspect for a bit? Try an "express lesson".
-$30 for a 25 minute "express" lesson or $115 for 4, 25 minute lessons. (don’t worry too much about the clock, we usually run over)

- students receive 10% discount off lessons but must have a .edu email account as proof.
(Prices don't include Paypal's fees if using a debit / credit card; just a few dollars).

Unlike other teachers, my lessons are extremely flexible. The lessons can be used whenever you wish. For example, we can do one lesson this week, then the next lesson in 3 weeks, then the next lesson two weeks after, etc. It's up to you. The schedule is left flexible so that you can get the most out of the lessons and the time in between to work on the material. Plus, I don't charge for missed lessons, we'll simply reschedule.
What do I need for my computer?:
If you're using a PC (anything non-APPLE), we use Skype. Skype is a free program that allows you to have a voice and/or video conference with anyone else who has Skype for free. It's simple to set up and use. You can find the program here: www.skype.com.
If you're on an APPLE, we use iChat. Same concept as Skype but it's built into Apple computers.
Regardless of platform, you'll need a webcam that has a built-in mic, or a separate mic.
That's it.
It's very simple yet highly effective. I've been doing internet lessons for 6 years now with many satisfied students from all over the world including USA, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, England, France, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Portugal, Ireland, Austria, Argentina, Belgium, China, Germany and more!

If you want to discuss lessons, have further questions or would like to book, please contact me at dave@daveweiner.com.
Thanks! I look forward to helping you become the best guitarist you can be!
Dave
PS - Lessons make a great gift! You can buy my lessons and give them to someone else for birthdays, holidays or any reason at all!
